Rochester Youth Hockey Needs your help!

Rochester Youth Hockey is in need of volunteers to help out with the Free Hockey Weekend in September (September 19, 20, 21).  The Free Hockey Weekend has been a highly successful program that introduces kids to hockey and to our organization.  For many of the kids (and parents) it is also their first introduction to the sport and the assistance we have had in the past from parents and players has been crucial in making it a positive experience.

Rochester Youth Hockey is looking to form a committee to continue to make the Free Hockey Weekend a success. We need as many coaches, parents and players as we can get to help with all aspects of the program, on and off the ice.  This can be as simple as guiding new parents with getting kids into their equipment, to organizing equipment fittings, and on-ice instruction.  Time commitment is a few hours leading up to the Free Hockey Weekend and between 4 and 5 hours during the weekend of the program.

This is a great program that helps kids get on the ice and experience hockey so please come out and help. Please contact Matthew Enman at menman@metrocast.net if you would be willing to help with this great program.

Thank you for your support,

Rochester Youth Hockey
